(Salt, London) Nicholas Royle, novelist, editor and agent, is joining Salt to develop its fiction list. The move signals a new focus on literary fiction and even experimental works.
“When I talk about accessible experimental fiction,” says Royle. “It’s people like Alain Robbe-Grillet I have in mind. I want these books to be accessible and readable, while at the same time pushing the boundaries, doing something new fresh and different.”
