If you are having trouble with formatting your book for DIY self-publishing sites like Lulu and CreateSpace, and have pulled out most of the hairs on your head, then click over to Cindy Bauer's excellent step-by-step guide to formatting in MS Word on Visual Arts Junction. Some sites will allow you to load up your formatted MS Word document like Lulu, for the others who require PDF files, you can of course use any of the free online MS Word to PDF converter.
